Maybach cars were produced by the German company Luftfahrzeug-Motorenbau GmbH from 1909 till 2013. They belonged to luxury class. Wilhelm Maybach headed the enterprise. The firm headquarters was located in Stuttgart, Germany. Since 2015 the brand is used by the Daimler AG concern. It produces Mercedes-Maybach vehicles.

Model 62 model needed 4.8 seconds for this. The 57S saloon, launched in 2005, was equipped with a 6-litre V12 twin-turbo power unit. Its output was 603 hp, max torque – 1000 N·m. The car accelerated to 100 km/h in less than 5 seconds.

The manufacturer used the Airmatic Dual Control pneumatic suspension, which analysed the state of the road surface every second and adjusted the shock absorber stiffness correspondingly. The manufacturer also installed the electro-hydraulic brake system Twin Sensotronic Brake Control. It ensured the safest deceleration and stopping.

Armoured cars, such as model 62 Guard, were also offered. This model was produced from 2009 to 2012 and had protective elements made of steel and Kevlar. With that, the armoured version was only 406 kg heavier than the standard one.
