Spare parts for your car
Lamborghini is an Italian sports car brand which started its history in 1963. Nowadays, the company that produces them belongs to the Volkswagen Group. Lamborghini cars are manufactured in small series. They always look attractive and emphasize their owner’s status, being also the symbol of speed and innovations.
Technical specifications of Lamborghini cars
Improvement of the vehicle speed performance, which is the most important for sports cars, always involves the requirement for reduction of the weight of their parts without sacrificing the durability. Specialists of Lamborghini succeeded in this by developing the Forged Composites technology. It consists in using a special method of creating composite materials on the basis of carbon fibres. As a result, the obtained composite is a third denser than titanium and more durable, but weighs much less. Many elements of Lamborghini cars are made of this material: body parts, seats, bonnet lid, and others. Parts made of forged composites are installed on the Urus crossovers, Veneno roadsters and Huracan coupes.
Another technology of carbon fibre processing is marketed by the company as Carbon Skin. It’s an ultrasoft and very durable material used for interior trimming, which is 35% lighter than alcantara and 65% lighter than leather. It is used on the Huracan EVO coupes.
As for the engines, the V10 with 4 valves per cylinder, dry sump and combined fuel injection is one of the best. This engine, installed on the Huracan EVO, has a displacement of 5.2 litre, and develops 640 hp and 600 N⋅m of torque. The car accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, and to 200 km/h – in 9 seconds, demonstrating one of the best results in its class.
Innovative technologies were also used in the suspension and steering system. In particular, the Rear-Wheel Steering technology allows to control not only the front, but the rear wheels as well, which ensures outstanding precision of maneuvering. Controlling the rear axle is performed with the help of two electromechanical actuators. This system is implemented in the Aventador S and Aventador SVJ roadsters.
The adaptive suspension with pushrods and magnetorheological shock absorbers constantly changes its characteristics in accordance with the driving mode chosen by the driver. The body roll has been almost totally eliminated due to the use of this layout. And in combination with the ALA active aerodynamics system it allows to increase the vertical load on the car during maneuvering to the maximum possible extent, which promotes even higher stability of the vehicle in cornering.
