The turbocharger system operation is arranged in the following way: two turbines are active below 3,800 rpm, above this level – all four of them are running. 10 radiators are used for cooling the engines. But a truly record-breaking speed was demonstrated by the Veyron Super Sport coupe. The car reached 431 km/h, which allowed it to enter the Guinness Book of World Records as the fastest mass production car used on public access roads. In 2013 the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse roadster was recognized the fastest in its class.

For speed control, exclusive Bugatti car parts are used. In particular, the cars are equipped with brake calipers with 8 titanium pistons. In combination with ceramic brake discs they ensure efficient braking.

The exhaust system of the vehicles is also one-of-a-kind. Made of titanium, it includes 2 efficient catalytic converters and 6 exhaust pipes. The bodies of the brand’s vehicles are also technologically advanced. The space frame and body panels of the cars, in particular, of the Chiron Sport coupe, are made of carbon fibre. This allows the manufacturer to reduce the vehicle weight, which has a positive effect on the dynamics.
