Spare parts for your car
Jaguar cars gained popularity as fast, luxurious, stylish and safe vehicles. They brought worldwide fame to the Britain’s automotive industry. Until recently they were produced by the same-name English company. Today the brand belongs to the Indian corporation Tata Motors.
Technical specifications of Jaguar cars
In 1948 the company launched the XK120. The car had a wooden frame and aluminium body panels, could reach 193 km/h, and at that point in time it was the world’s fastest mass production car.
Just like back in the days, today the manufacturer is way ahead of other car makers. The I-Pace electric vehicle, which won the “European Car of the Year” award, confirms this statement. This crossover is equipped with two electric engines developing the output of 400 hp. The maximum torque is 696 N⋅m. This electric car accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. On a single charge, it can cover a range of 480 km. This is largely possible due to the use of regenerative braking energy.
Apart from the powerful engines, suspension is another source of the manufacturer’s pride. Due to numerous systems, it ensures smooth and soft ride in combination with excellent steerability. Due to the use of air bellows, the road clearance can be automatically reduced by 10 mm, when the car is driven at a speed of over 105 km/h for some time. The Adaptive Dynamics system estimates the road surface condition and your driving style, with the data acquisition frequency of up to 500 times per second, and adjusts the stiffness of shock absorbers in accordance with road conditions. These technologies are used in the I-Pace and F-Pace crossovers and in other Jaguar models.
The system of dynamic torque distribution between the wheels brakes the inner wheels slightly during cornering, which creates additional yaw moment and ensures perfect cornering stability of the vehicle. This technology is available in the F-Type coupes and cabriolets, I-Pace crossovers, XE saloons, and other Jaguar cars.
Many Jaguar metal spare parts are made of aluminium. Particularly, the XE saloon was the first vehicle in its class with all-aluminium body. Moreover, all the models produced now by the brand have an aluminium chassis, which contributes to weight reduction, fuel efficiency, and outstanding dynamics of the vehicles.
