The Jaguar XJ (the X350, X358): specifications
Depending on the version, the length and width of the body varied in the range between 5090 and 5215 mm, 1860 and 2108 mm respectively. Their height was 1,448 and the ride height was 130 mm. The boot capacity of the car was 470 l. The maximum load capacity reached 644 kg.
Before the facelift, both axles of the vehicle were equipped with solid brake discs, and starting from 2007 – with ventilated ones. The manufacturer installed a self-levelling adaptive air suspension and an aluminium monocoque chassis.

There were 6 versions of the Jaguar XJ (the X350, X358) cars. There were petrol and diesel models among them. All saloons had a rear-wheel drive.
The petrol 4.2 АТ Long model was characterised by excellent performance. The car was equipped with a 8-cylinder, 32-valve straight V-engine with multipoint fuel injection. It was a 300 hp engine with the maximum torque of 420 Н·м at 4,100 rpm. The fuel consumption of the saloon per 100 km was 16.7 l in an urban area, 8.4 l on a highway and 11.4 l in the mixed cycle. Its maximum speed was 250 km/h. The car accelerated from 0 to 100 kph in 6.6 seconds.

The manufacturer offered several trims. They are SE, Sport, Executive, Sport Premium, Portfolio, Sovereign, Super V8.
All Jaguar XJ saloons (2003–2009) are equipped with traction control, ABS and dynamic stability control system. There are front and side airbags, cast wheels, parking sensors, front fog lights, two-zone climate control, keyless ignition system. The seats were trimmed with leather and the steering wheels – with wood. They had power windows, heated front seats, electric heated side mirrors. Their rear lights were LED.
The extended trim V8 included an audio system with a CD-changer, headlight washers, heated seats, telephone, satellite navigation system. Sports seats and aa DVD-player were optional.
