The Rover 100 / Metro hatchbacks (XP): specifications
Depending on the version, the dimensions of the car body varied within the following ranges: length – between 3521 and 3565 mm, width – between 1550 and 1562mm, height – between 1370 and 1395 mm. The ride height was 120 mm. The volume of the luggage compartment was 229 l and could be increased up to 960 l with the rear seats folded. Their maximum allowable load capacity didn’t exceed 419 kg.
The front axle was equipped with brake discs. The rear one was fitted with drum brakes.

Apart from the base trim level, there were several extended ones: C, L, Si, LD, GSi, GTi, MPi, Kensington, SLi. The GSi trim level included front power windows, leather seats. There was a tinted glass sunroof. The cars were fitted with a driver’s airbag, a car alarm, immobiliser, central locking system and alloy wheels. The dashboard was decorated with wood.
