1. The company’s business began with the production of equipment for marine and railway transport. Later, in 1916, they started to manufacture aeroplanes and Piaggio parts for aircrafts.

4. In 2009, the company released the first hybrid scooter in the world called the MP3 Hybrid. It was fitted with a 3.5 hp electric motor that works alongside with a 14 hp petrol power unit. The hybrid covers a twice longer distance per one litre of fuel than its petrol variant – 60 km and at the same time, the level of СО2 emissions is twice lower. The MP3 Hybrid can also run on electric power only accelerating up to 30 km/h.
