The firm initially specialised in licensed semi knocked-down assembly of the Chery and JAC cars. DR Automobiles sells its modern vehicles under its own brand name. Technical specifications of DR cars

The DR cars are equipped with all main safety systems, such as traction control system (ASR), electronic stability control (ESC) and electronic brake force distribution system (EBD). Emergency brake assist (EBA), hill-hold control (HHC) and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) are also installed. All these options are offered for the modern 3 model.

Most of the cars produced nowadays are equipped with 8 parking sensors. An all-around view camera makes maneuvering in tight spaces as safe as possible. When reversing, the image of the space around the car is displayed on the dashboard screen. The 3 crossover has a delayed headlight control system to illuminate the patch for some time after switching off the engine.
