Spare parts for your car
Five million of Nissan cars are sold annually all over the world. The vehicles are produced by the Japanese company Nissan Motor, which was founded in 1933. The company currently employs about 139,000 employees. There are many talented engineers and technicians among them.
Technical specifications of Nissan cars
The company gained success in manufacturing all-wheel-drive cars. One of them is the legendary all-wheel-drive body-on-frame Patrol off-roader produced since 1951, which won worldwide fame for its excellent off-road capability. Nissan also manufactures X-Trail crossovers equipped with intelligent All-Mode 4x4-i system. It monitors the road surface and instantly adjusts the torque going to each wheel. This contributes to more reliable and safe driving.
The company manufactures sports cars as well. The Skyline GTR sports coupe has been produced for more than 10 years. It’s top speed is 310 km/h and it accelerats to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds. The car earned a place in the Guinness World Records as the fastest 4-seat production car.
The company pays much attention to safety matters. Thus, the modern 5-door Leaf hatchbacks and X-Trail crossovers are equipped with semi-autonomous driving mode ProPilot. These cars can keep pace with the flow of traffic and drive on a highway almost independently due to a 360 degree view and a laser scanner, which constantly monitors the area ahead of the vehicle. The received data is transmitted to the control unit, which adjusts the accelerator pedal, steering and braking systems. The ProPILOT Park system helps drivers to park even if the parking space is rather narrow. The Qashqai and Murano crossovers are equipped with the Intelligent Back-up Intervention system. It monitors the situation when moving in reverse and warns the driver about danger with the help of a special dashboard indicator. In order to prevent the driver from being distracted by mobile devices, the manufacturer offered an unusual accessory, named Signal Shield. The know-how is a special armrest with a gadget storage compartment, which blocks mobile phone signals. For the first time this system was installed on the Juke crossover in 2017.
The car manufacturer cares about passengers’ comfort as well. Nissan was the first to install a curry hook on the Almera saloon. Since 2002, earlier than Japanese competitors, the company started to equip the Micra compact hatchbacks with the keyless entry system. Today, many Nissan models have this feature, particularly, the modern Qashqai and X-Trail crossovers.
