Opel Zafira C Tourer P12 cars are the third generation of 5- and 7-seat minivans that have been produced from 2011 till present. Unlike two previous generations of this model, this car is not marketed as a compact one anymore. It became significantly larger, more powerful and dynamic. This vehicle received many prestigious awards. In 2011 Euro NCAP crash tests it performed wonderfully and got the highest 5-star rating. Technical specifications of Opel Zafira C Tourer P12
The Tourer P12 minivan was 4,658 mm long, 1,884 mm wide, 1,685 mm high. Unlike the previous generations, it came as a 5-seater as standard. 2 additional seats could be ordered as a paid option. The proprietary system Flex7 was significantly modernized. The second row had separate seats. The optionally available Lounge Seating system allowed transforming the back of the middle seat into a comfortable armrest. Moreover, the seats could be moved sideways, as well as lengthways.
The luggage compartment capacity varied between 155 and 1,860 litres depending on the quantity an arrangement of the seats. The ground clearance was 160 mm.

20 versions of Zafira C Tourer P12 were produced over the manufacturing years: 5 petrol and 3 diesel ones before the facelift of 2016, 7 petrol (2 of them bi-fuel) and 5 diesel versions – after it.
One of the most fuel-efficient and eco-friendly versions was the diesel 2.0 CDTI ecoFLEX. It was equipped with a 4-cylinder 16-valve engine with Common Rail direct fuel injection. It outputted 131 hp and produced the torque of 300 N⋅m. 0 to 100 km/h time was 11.4 seconds, with the top speed of 193 km/h. «Start/Stop» system improved fuel efficiency. The average fuel consumption was 4.6 litres per 100 km in the combined cycle. CO2 emissions didn’t exceed 119 g/km. The loading capacity of this version was 702 kg.
Trim levels of Zafira C Tourer P12
Essentia, Enjoy, Cosmo, Business Edition are among the most popular trim levels of the third generation minivan. The top trim level, Cosmo, had a rich equipment list. These cars had 8 airbags, active headrests, ISOFIX attachments for child seats, and a proprietary safety pedal unit PRS. The FlexRide adaptive suspension has 3 operation modes and automatically adjusts to driving conditions, thus providing the best road-holding ability. The blind zone monitoring system was offered as a paid option. Another one was the all-around-view system Opel Eye with a front camera. It warns about unintentional lane departure and recognizes the traffic signs.
