Technical specifications of Ford Ka RB
Ford Ka RB hatchback was 3,620 mm long, 1,631 mm wide and 1,368 mm high. The car had quite a long wheelbase for its dimensions (2,448 mm) and very short front and rear overhangs. That is why the interior was quite spacious. Smart use of interior space allowed installing four separate seats. Moreover, there were numerous pockets and storage boxes for small items. By folding the rear seatbacks one could increase the capacity of the luggage compartment from 186 to 724 litres.
The front suspension was independent, the rear one – semi-independent. Chassis settings ensured excellent car stability and handling. It didn’t skid when cornering even at high speed. The ground clearance of 140 mm provided a comfortable ride and decent off-road performance on poor-quality roads.
