Apart from the base level, the 1 series (the Е81) vehicles were available with Executive and High Executive packages. The Business Line Ultimate Edition had its own range of equipment.

The High Executive package of the hatchback included 6 airbags, emergency braking assist, electronic stability programme and traction control, cruise control and two-zone climate-control, parking sensors, sound system with control buttons on the steering wheel. The front seats were height adjustable and the steering column was height and reach adjustable. Windscreen wipers were activated automatically by the rain sensor providing excellent vision in all kinds of weather.
