BEEPER RWEC100X-RF Reversing camera with LED, with camera, 140°

The RWEC100X-RF is the ideal system for large vehicles (vans, campers) or articulated vehicles (agricultural vehicles, trailers, horse trailers ...)

This reversing video system can be used as an electronic rear view mirror or to monitor any blind spot of a vehicle. Its IP67 certified color camera is waterproof and resistant to dust and water projections.

WIFI transmission by radio frequency
The transmission by radio frequency WIFI is particularly convenient for articulated vehicles or trailers where the wired connection is difficult to achieve. There is no longer any risk of deterioration, wear or sealing problems for cables and coils.

The WIFI transmission by radio-frequency allows a maximum range in free field of 30 m, that is to say a range of 10 to 15 m. in an embarked configuration (passage of the signal through the structures). This system is particularly suitable for trailers (vans, agricultural machinery, ...) and vehicles for which the passage of a cable is difficult (motor homes, vans, ...).

Caution: WIFI RF transmission is disturbed or even blocked by metallic elements
- it is strongly advised not to install it if any metallic element is in the field between the screen and the camera
- this metallic element is charged in RF wave and disturbs the transmitted radio signal
- the product cannot be taken back if the installation does not respect these rules

Night Vision
The camera in the Beeper RWEC100X-RF kit is equipped with 18 infrared LEDs, which have the ability to detect the level of light, thus providing the best possible night vision.

Please note that the operation of the LEDs is not perceptible to the naked eye.

These LEDs are a real asset for night vision, however they can sometimes distort the real colors of surrounding objects or obstacles (eg: pink vegetation). However this constraint remains negligible compared to the global performances of the product.

Two types of visions are possible

Distance visualization templates
Distance visualization template lines appear on the screen. These lines allow the best evaluation of the distances between the vehicle and the obstacle. These template lines can be deactivated during the installation of the product if you wish.

Screen functions

AV1- AV2 : Selection of camera 1 or 2 If you have installed 2 cameras or if another video source (DVD player, ...) is connected to the screen, this button allows you to switch the second video source.

Possible settings :

- rotation of the image from top to bottom possible
- inversion of the image right-left or mirror effect: useful if the camera is moved to the front This function is useful at the installation or in case of change of position of the screen or the camera

WARNING - VEHICLES FORBIDDING TO CONNECT A CONSUMER TO THE REAR LIGHT BEAM
On some vehicles, the +12 V Backup Light is interfered with when the engine is running, which can disrupt the proper operation of the backup camera kit. In other cases, this +12 V Backup Light does not allow any additional power consumption.
For all these vehicles, Beeper has developed the RCANR2 module to retrieve the +12V Backup Light information from the CANBUS network. This module connects to the CANBUS of the compatible vehicle and delivers a +12V Backup Light for the connection of a backup camera.
