SUZUKI 1.6 i 16V All-wheel Drive (ET, TA02, SE416) (07.1990 - 03.1998)
Hello, this is a 1996 Suzuki Vitara, 8V. The switch sensor connects to the intake manifold via a single ground wire. Its normal and correct operation is that, with the engine idling, if I disconnect the ground wire from the sensor, the electric fan starts, and if I reconnect the wire to the sensor, the electric fan stops.
I don't know if sensor 35670 is the correct one for this Vitara?
Sincerely and thank you
Hello, Well, this Vitara is 8V, not 16V, its motor is a G16 A, gasoline, and its chasis number is: VSEETV01V01XXXXXX. but I dont´t have the original parts nimber of the required car parts because that replacement has been lost.
According to information from Suzuki Santana, very few cars of that model were manufactured.
Best regards and thanks
Hello,
I think could be better solution than try to find a Vitara like this model nowaday, it is using a meter (if is possible), and with that sensor 95573-60A50 in hand, see if between the sensor terminal where is connected the wirw and the sensor body there is continuity..
If so I will buy that sensor.
I wonder if you know what that diagram means with the ground symbol that appears next to the sensor.
Sincerely and thank you for your atention,
