The SsangYong Korando III (C200) is a five-door crossover SUV that was produced from 2010 to 2018. Before it was launched, several concept cars were introduced to the public: the first at the 2008 Paris Motor Show, and another at the 2009 Seoul Motor Show. The production vehicle debuted at the 2010 Busan Motor Show. The SUV had an attractive, stylish and modern look: the exterior was created by specialists from the famous design company Italdesign. The SsangYong Korando III (C200): specifications
These SUVs were 4,410 mm long, 1,830 mm wide, and 1,675 mm high. The cabin had enough space to accommodate a driver and four passengers. The boot capacity was 486 litres and increased to 1,312 litres with the rear seats folded. The ground clearance was 180 mm.
The front suspension was independent, fitted with MacPherson struts, while the rear one featured a multi-link system. Brake discs were mounted onto both axles. Many versions boasted wide, low-profile tyres.

Throughout the production run, over ten versions of the SsangYong Korando III crossover SUV (C200) were produced, including diesel, petrol and bi-fuel models. They could have front- or all-wheel drive. There were two types of transmission: six-speed automatic and manual.
The 2.0 XDi 4WD АТ featured balanced characteristics. It boasted a 4-cylinder, 16-valve, 175 hp engine with a turbocharger and intercooler as well as a common-rail direct fuel injection system. The engine produced a maximum torque of 320 N⋅m, reached at 2,000 rpm. It went from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.8 seconds and the maximum speed was 186 km/h. These vehicles had relatively low fuel consumption: 9.6 litres per 100 km in the urban cycle, 7.5 litres in the combined cycle, and 6.3 litres in the extra-urban cycle. Their maximum load capacity was 568 kg.

Depending on the market and the year of production, there were a great number of trims available for SsangYong Korando III crossover SUVs (C200), including Crystal, Quartz, Sapphire, STD, STD-1, DLX, DLX-1, DLX-2, and DLX-3.
The packages featured a wide range of equipment. The DLX-1 trim offered an anti-lock braking system with brake force distribution, electronic stability programme, active rollover protection, hill-start assist, and emergency braking assist. All doors would automatically lock when the vehicle reached a speed of 4 km/h. The front seats were equipped with active headrests. There were also factory-installed front and side airbags as well as side-curtain airbags. In order to protect the vehicles while driving off-road, they had a stone chip coating on the underbody, wheel arch trims, front and rear wheel arch liners. Climate and cruise controls, power windows and mirrors, and power steering made driving extremely comfortable.
