Technical characteristics of Renault Master III (FV)
Renault Master III (FV) vans are available in three wheelbase variants: 3182 mm, 3682 mm and 4332 mm. Body length can be 5048 mm, 5548 mm, 6198 mm and 6848 mm. The width is 2070 mm. The height can also differ: 2264 mm for cars with a low roof, from 2457 to 2556 mm – with a mid roof, from 2744 to 2815 mm – for high-roof cars. The capacity of the cargo compartment varies between 7.8 and 15.8 m³. Road clearance can be 167–181 mm depending on the version.
The cabin has 3 seats. The body is fully galvanized and features excellent resistance to corrosion. The front suspension is independent, the rear – dependent with leaf springs. Brake discs are installed on all wheels.

2.3 MT RWD version is one of the most popular nowadays. It has a 4-cylinder 16-valve turbocharged diesel engine with Common Rail fuel injection system and 6-speed manual transmission. The motor delivers 125 hp and reaches the max torque of 320 N⋅m at 1250 rpm. This guarantees a reliable start even with a fully loaded cargo section. Fuel consumption is moderate: 9.1–9.3 litres per 100 km on the average. Depending on the selected body length-to-height ratio, the loading capacity varies from 1179 to 2059 kg.
The car is a rear-wheel-drive. But limited slip differential, that provides excellent road performance on a slippery surface, is available optionally.
Trim levels of Master III (FV)
Renault Master III (FV) vans are available in various trim levels, the most popular of which are Authentique, Comfort + and Privilege.
The van with the Privilege trim level has factory-installed air conditioner, automatic cruise control, driver and passenger airbags, keyless entry system, stability control system, understeer control, engine torque control, hill start assist, a system providing extra grip on soft or rough surfaces (Grip Xtend) and other equipment.
