Technical specifications of Nissan Primera (WP12)
The vehicle’s length was 4,679 mm, the width – 1,760 mm, the height – 1,481 mm. The road clearance was 150 mm. The maximum loading capacity was 544 kg. Depending on the rear seats position, the luggage compartment volume varied in the 456–1,670 litres range.
The front and rear suspensions of the car were independent. Both axles were equipped with brake discs, the front ones were ventilated.
Main versions
About 10 versions of the Primera WP12 (2001—2008) were presented. Among them were both petrol and diesel ones. All the cars were front-wheel driven.
The 2.5 CVT petrol version was the most powerful. It was equipped with a 170 hp 4-cylinder 16-valve power unit with a multipoint fuel injection system. The maximum torque was 245 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The top speed of the vehicle was 220 km/h. Fuel consumption was 7.7 litres per 100 km in combined cycle.
Trim levels of Nissan Primera (WP12)
Popular trim levels were S, SE, SVE, SX, T-Spec, Comfort, Elegance. All cars had factory-installed anti-theft alarm, central lock, climate control, power windows, heated mirrors, hydraulic power steering. Also, there was an ABS, an electronic brake force distribution (EBD), and an emergency Brake Assist.
The T-Spec top trim level was completed with cruise control, parking sensors, satellite navigation system, power roof hatch, front fog lights, and an audio system with remote control. The headlights were equipped with washers, the interior featured leather-trimmed elements and heated seats. A “metallic” body colour was offered.
