Technical characteristics of Nissan Pathfinder (R52)
The length of this vehicle is 5008 mm, width – 1960 mm, height – 1768 mm. Road clearance is 182 mm. The capacity of the luggage compartment is 453 litres, and it reaches 2260 litres with the passenger seats folded.
Brake discs are installed on both axles, on the front one they are vented. The cars are equipped with independent suspension: in the front – with MacPherson struts and multilink in the rear.
Main versions
Rear- and all-wheel-drive cars are offered. There are two diesel, one petrol and one hybrid version of Pathfinder (R52). The latter is equipped with an electric motor and turbocharged 4-cylinder 2.5L petrol engine. A compact Li-ion battery is mounted under the third row of seats. The combined output of the power units is 250 hp.
3.5 CVT AWD version, operating on petrol, is one of the most powerful. It has a V6 24-valve engine with port fuel injection. Engine output equals 249 hp, max torque – 325 N·m at 4400 rpm. Top speed is limited at 190 km/h and the car accelerates to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds. Fuel consumption in the urban cycle is 13.7 litres per 100 km. The car consumes 8.6 litres in the extra-urban cycle and 10.4 litres – in the combined cycle.
Trim levels of Pathfinder (R52)
There are a few trim levels, for instance, Mid, Top, High, High+, S, SV, SL, Platinum. In some markets, the Mid trim level is the basic one. It includes ABS with brake force distribution (EBD), dynamic stability control (VDC), emergency braking assist (IBA). Moreover, there are traction control system (TCS) and tyre air pressure monitoring (TPMS). The side mirrors are electrically-adjustable and heated. Front, side and curtain airbags are installed.
The highest trim level of Nissan Pathfinder (R52) off-roader, Platinum, includes hill start assist, sunroof, fog lights, multimedia system with an 8-inch touchscreen and navigation system. Moreover, cruise control is available for these cars. The front seats are equipped with heating and cooling, the interior features decorative wooden elements.
