Technical specifications of Nissan Pathfinder (R50)
At the start of production, the car had the following dimensions: the length – 4,530 mm, the width – 1,840 mm, the height – 1,750 mm. The road clearance was 210 mm. The luggage compartment volume varied in the 435–1,076 litres range, depending on the version. It could be increased to 1,670–2,407 litres with the rear seats folded. After the restyling, the body height remained the same, while the length and the width changed and were 4,640 mm and 1,820 mm respectively.
The SUV’s rear suspension was independent, multi-link. The front axle was equipped with ventilated brake discs, the rear one – with drum brake mechanisms.
Main versions
About 10 versions of the Nissan Pathfinder (1996-2004) were released. They included both petrol and diesel ones. The cars with a rear-wheel and all-wheel drive were offered.

Trim levels of Pathfinder (R50)
There were several trim levels, for example, XE, LE, SE, LE Platinum. The LE Platinum trim level included an anti-lock braking system, front and side airbags, cruise control, the system of keyless engine start, the central lock, an electronic anti-theft device, front fog lights, parking sensors. Also, there were roof rails and heated power mirrors. The interior was equipped with an air conditioner, power windows, an audio system with CD- and DVD-support. The seats were trimmed with leather.
