Land Rover Discovery III (TAA) technical specifications
The body dimensions varied depending on the version: length ranged from 4835 to 4849 mm, width from 1915 to 2190 mm and height from 1837 to 1882 mm. The ground clearance was 240 mm. The boot capacity was 280–1108 litres and increased to 1831–2558 litres with the rear seats folded. The car’s maximum loading capacity was 794 kg.

The 4.4 АТ petrol version was characterized by good dynamics. It was equipped with a V8 32-valve engine with port fuel injection. The engine output was 295 hp and maximum torque was 425 N·m at 4000 rpm. Discovery III (TAA) trim levels
The manufacturer offered several versions, such as S, SE and HSE. The HSE extended trim included ABS, brake force distribution, emergency brake assist, traction control and dynamic stability control. There were also front and side airbags.
The HSE trim of Land Rover Discovery III (2004–2009) off-roaders was equipped with central locking, a keyless engine start system, electric windows, cruise-control, air-conditioning and parking sensors. The seats were heated and the wing mirrors were heated and electric. The seats and the steering wheel were trimmed with leather. An audio system with CD-player, a GPS navigator, alloy wheel rims, front fog lights and xenon headlights were also included.
