KIA Sorento II (XM) cars: technical specifications, versions and trim levels

The body was 4,685 mm long, 1,885 mm wide and 1,710 mm high. The ride height was 184 mm. Depending on the position of the second-row seats, the volume of luggage compartment varied from 530 to 2,052 litres. The maximum payload capacity of the vehicle reached 620 kg.

There were about 20 versions of Kia Sorento II (XM). There were petrol, diesel and hybrid models among them. The latter could run both on petrol and liquefied petroleum gas. The crossovers had either front-wheel drive or part-time AWD.
The diesel 2.2 AT 4WD version was characterised by fuel efficiency and good performance. The vehicle was equipped with a 4-cylinder 16-valve straight engine with the Common Rail system. Its output was 197 hp, its maximum torque was 436 N·m at 1,800 rpm. To cover the distance of 100 km, the vehicle consumed 9.3 litres in the urban cycle, 6.2 litres in the extra-urban cycle and 7.4 litres in the combined cycle. The maximum speed was 190 kph. It accelerated from 0 to 100 kph in 10 seconds.
Sorento II (XM) trim levels
Apart from the base trim, there were some extended packages of equipment used in Kia Sorento II crossovers (XM; 2009–2014). LX, EX, SX, Comfort, Prestige, Luxe и Premium were among them.
All vehicles had factory-installed audio system with a CD player and Bluetooth, 17-inch light alloy wheel rims, keyless entry system and power windows.
The top trim SX included a leather-trimmed interior, sat nav, reversing camera, sunroof. There were also an audio system with a subwoofer, 18-inch light alloy wheel rims.
