The Jaguar XK 8 coupe technical specifications
The initial dimensions of the car body were the following: length – 4,760, width – 1,829, height – 1,306 mm. The volume of luggage compartment reached 327 liters. The Jaguar XK 8 coupes were offered in 6 petrol versions. All cars had rear-wheel drive.
The 4.0 MT model was one of the most popular. This car was equipped with a 32-valve V8 engine with multipoint fuel injection. The power unit produced 284 hp with the maximum torque of 375 N·m at 4,250 rpm. The fuel consumption per 100 km was 17.2 litres in the urban cycle, 8.6 litres in the extra-urban cycle and 11.8 litres in the combined cycle. The maximum speed of the car reached 250 kph. It accelerated from 0 to 100 kph in 6.8 seconds.
XK 8 coupe trim levels
Apart from the base trim, customers were offered several extended ones. They include S, Premium, XKR, Silverstone, Carbon Fibre, Premium XKR. All XK 8 coupes (1996–2006) had ABS and traction control systems, front airbags. There were also alloy wheel rims, an audio system with a CD changer, climate control, heated power mirrors, front power windows, front fog lights. They had heated, leather-trimmed seats.
