Hyundai Atos (MX) cars were 5-door hatchbacks produced since 1997. They were available on many markets only until 2008. 5 people could sit in the car at the same time. Hyundai Atos (MX) Specifications
The cars had the following dimensions: length – 3495 mm, width – 1495 mm, height – 1615 mm. Road clearance was 160 mm. Volume of the luggage compartment varied in the range of 219–1084 litres depending on rear seats position. Loading capacity didn’t exceed 469 kg. The front axle was equipped with disc brakes, the rear – with drums.
Main versions
The manufacturer presented more than 10 versions. They included petrol and gas versions. All vehicles had front-wheel drive. Available power units were characterized by fuel-efficiency and small displacement: from 0.8 to 1.1 litres.
0.8 Turbo MT version was one of the most powerful. Its petrol engine had 70 hp output. Max torque of 103 N·m was reached at 4000 rpm. Fuel consumption was moderate. It was 8 litres per 100 km in urban cycle, 4.5 litres – in extra-urban cycle and 5.6 litres – in combined cycle. It took 12.7 seconds for the car to accelerate to 100 km/h. Top speed reached 149 km/h.
Trim levels of Atos (MX)
Apart from the base trim level, the manufacturer offered a few extended trims. They included both driver and front passenger airbags. They also featured ABS.
As for the comfort, equipment list of most trim levels included front fog lights, power door locks, air-conditioner. It also featured front power windows.
