The Honda FR-V (the BE): specifications

Throughout the production run, the dimensions of the vehicle remained the same. The length, width and height of the body were 4,285, 1,810 and 1,610 mm respectively. The ride height was 155 mm. The maximum load capacity of the minivan reached 524 kg. The boot capacity was 439 l and with the rear seats folded, it increased up to 1600 l.

The manufacturer mounted independent suspension on both axles of the vehicle. The front axle was equipped with ventilated brake discs and the rear one – with solid ones.

Main versions

The Honda FR-V (the BE) cars were available in 6 versions. Customers could choose from petrol and diesel models. They might have either front-wheel or all-wheel drive.

One of the most popular among them was a petrol 1.8 MT version. It was equipped with a 4-cylinder, 16-valve straight engine with multipoint fuel injection. The standard equipment of all FR-V multi-purpose vehicles (2005–2009) included ABS and traction control, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), electronic brakeforce distribution, front and side airbags as well.
