The Honda CR-V III (the RE): specifications
When the production started, the length of the car body was 4,530, the width was 1,820, and the height was 1,675 mm. The ride height of the crossover was 185 mm. The maximum load capacity reached 576 kg. The boot capacity was 524 l and with the rear seats folded, it increased up to 1,532 l.
After the facelift, the car became 40 mm longer. The maximum load capacity decreased up to 546 kg. Other parameters remained the same. The front axle of the crossover was equipped with ventilated brake discs and the rear axle – with solid ones.
Main versions
Over 10 versions of the Honda CR-V III cars (the RE) were made: petrol, diesel and flex-fuel. The latter could run on a mixture of petrol and ethanol. They offered cars with a front-wheel drive as well as with an on-demand all-wheel drive.
The most popular among them was a petrol 2.4 АТ version. The vehicle was equipped with a part-time AWD and 4-cylinder, 16-valve straight petrol engine with multipoint fuel injection. CR-V III (the RE): trim levels
The manufacturer offered several trims. For example, customers could choose from SE, SET, SE+, SE+ T, ES, ESK, EST, EX, Elegance, Lifestyle, Comfort, Executive, Sport. All Honda CR-V III crossovers (2006–2012) had ABS and traction control systems, front and side airbags and an ability to adjust the position of the steering wheel. There was also an audio system with a CD-player, electric heated side mirrors, power windows.
The extended trim ESK included cast wheels, parking sensors, a sat nav, electric driver seat. There were headlight washers and heated leather seats. Besides, these vehicles were fitted with front fog lights as well.
