Technical characteristics of Ford Focus Mk2 DA3
The Ford Focus (2004–2010) estate had the length of 4473 mm, the width of 1840 mm, and the height of 1503 mm. Its luggage compartment capacity varied between 482 and 1525 litres. The ground clearance was 155 mm.
Front and rear suspensions were independent. This gave the vehicle great stability, perfect manoeuvrability and a high comfort level. The front axle of the vehicle was equipped with ventilated brake discs while the rear axle had solid brake discs.
Main editions
In total 29 versions of Ford Focus Mk2 DA3 were released. Before the restyling in 2008, 8 petrol versions and 6 diesel versions were released, while 9 petrol and 6 diesel versions were released after the restyling.
In 2009, the limited edition X Road was released. This version was characterized by a plastic body kit along the perimeter, designed to protect the body from damage. It had also 17-inch light-alloy wheel rims and bigger bumpers. Despite these sporty features, this vehicle was designed for great off-road performance: it was a front-wheel-drive and had the same high ground clearance, as other versions. The engine had 125 hp and 165 N⋅m torque. The car reached 100 km/h in 10.5 seconds, and had a top speed of 198 km/h. Petrol or ethanol could be used as fuel. Over 100 km distance, the car consumed 9.5 litres of fuel in urban cycle, 7 litres in combined cycle, 5.6 litres in extra-urban cycle. Loading capacity of the version was 655 kg.
Trim levels of Focus Mk2 DA3
Focus Mk2 DA3 estate cars were available in the following trim levels: Comfort, Titanium, Ghia, Trend, Studio, LX, Style, Sport, Zetec, Zetec Climate and others.
The Titanium trim level had a central lock with a remote control, an air conditioner, a power steering system, a steering column adjusted in 2 directions, front and rear electric windows, rain and light sensors, 6 airbags, a multimedia system with voice control function, an audio-player with MP3 support and 8 speakers, a Bluetooth communication system as well as other features.
