Technical characteristics of Citroën Jumpy II
Citroën Jumpy II minivans were available with two wheelbase variants: 3000 mm and 3122 mm. Body length was 4805 mm and 5135 mm respectively. The width was 1985 mm, height – 1880–1980 mm. The car could have 5, 6, 8 or 9 seats.
Depending on the number and arrangement of the seats, the capacity of the luggage compartment varied between 519 and 4124 litres. The conventional rear door with two leaves provided access to it. The car could have sliding doors on both sides so that it was more convenient for passengers to get on the seats of the rear rows. The body featured excellent corrosion resistance.
The front suspension was independent with MacPherson struts, the rear – semi-independent. It absorbed shocks well and maintained the vehicle’s stability and steerability. Brake discs were installed on both vehicle axles.
