Chevrolet Nubira estate car specifications
Body dimensions were as follows: length – 4580 mm, width – 1725 mm, height – 1460 mm. The cabin and luggage compartment were rather spacious. The volume of the latter was 400 litres and 1410 litres with the rear seats folded away. Maximum loading capacity of the car was 440 kg.
The front and rear suspensions were independent. Ventilated brake discs were installed on the front axle. Non-ventilated discs were used on the rear.
Main versions
About 10 front-wheel-drive versions of Chevrolet Nubira estate car (2005–2010) were produced: diesel, petrol and hybrid. The latter operated on petrol and liquefied petroleum gas.
1.6 EcoLogic MT petrol version was eco-friendly and fuel-efficient. It was powered by 4-cylinder 16-valve in-line engine. It had output of 106 hp, max torque – 150 N·m at 3600 rpm. Top speed of the car was 187 km/h. It accelerated to 100 km/h in 11.4 seconds. Fuel consumption in urban cycle was 10.1 litres per 100 km, 6.4 litres – in extra-urban cycle, 7.8 litres – in combined cycle.
Trim levels of Chevrolet Nubira estate car
There were three main trim levels of Chevrolet Nubira estate car: SE, SX and CDX. The basic trim, SE, included air-conditioner, stereo system, halogen headlights. It also featured power door locks, front and side airbags, rear fog lights, power heated side-view mirrors, power windows, adjustable steering column. ABS with electronic brake force distribution (EBD) and traction control system (TCS) ensured driving safety. A sunroof was offered for an extra charge.
The highest trim, CDX, included multifunction power steering wheel, cruise-control, CD-player, front fog lights. The cabin was trimmed with natural leather.
