Replacement of the engine hood

The hood can be replaced both by service station experts, and with your own hands. You will need to perform the following steps:

1. Lift the hood lid and disconnect the wire from the battery negative terminal.
2. Clean the hinges from rust and dirt using special substance and a brush.
3. Remove the locking pin and disconnect the wire, then demount the electronic lock.
4. Unscrew bolts and take the damaged part off the hinges.
5. Prime and color mounting spots.
6. Install a lock on a new component, and then mount it by connecting body holes and hinges with bolts.
7. Connect the wire to the battery negative terminal.
