SKODA Felicia II Hatchback (6U1) cars: technical specifications, versions and trim levels
Škoda Felicia II (6U1) cars are 5-door hatchbacks, produced from 1998 to 2001. They were best-sellers in Czech Republic and also popular in other European countries. Škoda Felicia II (6U1) Specifications
Length of the hatchbacks was 3883 mm, width – 1635 mm, height – 1415 mm. Volume of the luggage compartment was 272–967 litres depending on the rear seats’ position. The cabin had 5 seats. Road clearance was 110 mm.
The front suspension was independent, the rear – semi-independent. Brake discs were installed on the front axle, drums – on the rear. The body was zinc-coated and characterized by corrosion resistance.
Main versions
About 10 versions of Škoda Felicia II (1998–2001) were produced during the manufacturing period. Most of them were petrol. All cars had front-wheel drive.
1.6 MT version was one of the most powerful. It was equipped with 4-cylinder 8-valve engine with multi-point injection and 75 hp output. Its torque was 135 N⋅m. The car accelerated to 100 km/h in 12 seconds. Its top speed equaled 170 km/h. At the same time, fuel consumption was 5.4 litres per 100 km in extra-urban cycle, 6.9 litres – in combined cycle, 9.5 litres – in urban cycle. Loading capacity of the version was 485 km/h.
Trim levels of Felicia II (6U1)
A few trim levels were offered for Škoda Felicia II hatchbacks: LX, LXi, GLX, GLXi, SLX. Besides, special equipment lists were offered for limited edition cars, such as: Color Line, Magic and Magic 2, Sport Line and others.
Bodies of Sport Line hatchbacks could be red or black. In the first case seatbelts and interior door panels were also red and the seats upholstery combined red and grey. In the second case yellow was used for interior. The steering wheel and gear knob were leather with red or white stitching. The rear seats were equipped with headrests. Windscreen wipers had intermittent function. Equipment included immobilizer, digital tachometer, remote central locking with alarm, power steering.
