The Porsche Panamera (970): specifications
Initially, the liftback had the following dimensions: it was 4,970 mm long, 1,931 mm wide and 1,418 mm high. After the facelift, it became 45 mm longer. Other parameters remained unchanged. The ride height was limited to 143 mm. The maximum load capacity of the vehicle was 620 kg. The volume of the luggage compartment varied from 445 to 1,263 l depending on the position of the rear seats.
Most cars had an adaptive air suspension with active anti-roll bars. Both axles of the vehicle were equipped with ventilated brake discs. The car was equipped with 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers.
Main versions
There were over 20 versions presented. Petrol, diesel and hybrid models were among them. The latter ran both on petrol and electricity. The Porsche Panamera liftbacks (970; 2009–2016) had either a rear-wheel drive or a brand AWD system called Traction Management.
One of the most powerful versions was all-wheel drive petrol Turbo S 4.8 PDK AWD with a 7-speed semi-automatic transmission and dual-clutch system. These vehicles were equipped with a turbocharged 32-valve V8 engine. The power unit produced 570 hp with the maximum torque of 750 N⋅m at 2,250 rpm. The car accelerated from 0 to 100 kph in 3.8 seconds. Its speed limit was 310 km/h. The fuel consumption of the vehicle per 100 km was 14.7 l in the urban cycle, 7.7 l in the extra-urban cycle and 10.2 l in the combined cycle.
Panamera (970): trim levels
Apart from the base one, there were several extended trim packages of the Porsche Panamera (970), for example, 4, 4 Platinum Edition, S, Turbo, Turbo S, 4S, GTS. The base equipment included climate control, cruise control, front and side airbags, a sat nav, car alarm, electric park brake. There were headlight washers, power windows, electric heated side mirrors. Alloy wheels, adaptive LED headlights, a Bose or Burmester sound system were offered as optional extras.
