PORSCHE 911 Coupe (997) cars: technical specifications, versions and trim levels
The Porsche 911 sports coupes (997) were produced from 2004 to 2012 by the German car manufacturer Porsche AG. Their exterior and interior were developed by Dutch designer Harm Lagaay. The peculiarity of this car was that the ignition switch was put on the left of the steering column. This allowed to reduce the time required to start the engine. This feature is especially important for racers of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The body type was four-seater. The cars were facelifted in 2008. The German magazine Auto Zeitung annually recognised the Carrera model as “Best in Class” from 2004 to 2011. You can buy reliable spare parts for a sports car at our online store.
