Jeep Cherokee III (KJ): specifications
The car body’s length was 4430, the width was 1820, and the height was 1865 mm. The ride height was 200 mm. Depending on the position of passenger seats, the boot capacity varied from 820 to 1950 litres. The car’s maximum loading capacity was 620 kg.

Main versions
The manufacturer introduced over ten versions of the Jeep Cherokee III (2001–2007). There were both petrol and diesel models. They offered SUVs with their full-time AWD system Selec-Trac or the on-demand AWD Command-Trac.

Cherokee III (KJ) trim levels
The manufacturer offered several trims, such as Sport, Renegade, Extreme Sport and Limited. The basic equipment of the Sport package included air conditioning, hydraulic power steering, power windows, a car alarm and a sound system with CD and cassette players. There were electric heated wing mirrors. The steering column was tilt adjustable. Apart from that, the SUV’s standard equipment also included a central locking system, halogen headlights and a roof rack. The rear window was heated and fitted with a wiper. Cherokee III (KJ) SUVs were equipped with front airbags, ABS and a light sensor. Cruise control, alloy wheels, a CD changer, sat nav, side airbags and traction control were optional.
