The length of the Tucson (2004–2010) crossover was 4,325 mm, the width – 1,795 mm, the height – 1,680 mm. The luggage compartment volume was 325 litres, and with the rear seats folded - 1,375 litres. The road clearance of the vehicle was 195 mm. The loading capacity varied within the 500–600 kg range, depending on the version. The car was equipped with brake discs on both axles. The 2.7 AT 4WD was the most powerful version. This Tucson JM crossover was equipped with a 6 cylinder V-engine. Trim levels of Hyundai Tucson JM
The cars were offered in 3 trim levels. The equipment list of the basic trim level, GL, included 6 airbags, an air conditioner, a CD player, keyless entry system, and electronic stability control. The extended trim, GLS, had, in addition, plastic panels on the car body sides, fog lights, windscreen wiper blades with anti-icing covers. The Limited trim level was the top one. Apart from other equipment, these cars had a climate control system, heated and leather-trimmed seats. In 2007, the GL and GLS trim levels were renamed as GLS and SE correspondingly.
