The car body length was 4,025 mm before the first restyling, and then it increased to 4,050 mm. The width and height didn’t change and were 1,740 mm and 1,685 mm correspondingly. The 1.5 CRDi MT was the most powerful of the diesel versions. These cars were equipped with a 110 hp 4-cylinder engine with a turbocharger and the Common Rail system. The cars accelerated to 100 km/h in 13.9 seconds. The maximum speed was 170 km/h. Fuel consumption in combined cycle was 5.2 litres per 100 km. Trim levels of Matrix FC

In 2003, the GLS Edition+ version appeared. It included a trip computer, an air conditioner, 15-inch alloy wheel rims. From 2008, 3 trim levels were offered to customers: Classic, Comfort, and Style. Two more airbags and ESP system were added to the standard equipment of all the minivans.
