Dodge Charger (LX) technical specifications
The dimensions of the vehicle were the following: the length was 5,082 mm, its width was 1,891 mm and its height varied from 1469 to 1479 mm depending on the version. The ride height reached 130 mm. The volume of luggage compartment also depended on the version and varied from 460 to 765 litres. The front axle of the saloon was equipped with ventilated brake discs and the rear one – with non-ventilated components.

Dodge Charger (LX) cars were available in 6 petrol versions. The manufacturer offered both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive saloons. After restyling, all-wheel drive vehicles were equipped with Torque-on-Demand system. It analyzed the road conditions and switched off the front drive if there was no need for additional traction. The rear-wheel-drive 6.1 АТ version was characterised by good performance. It was equipped with a 24-valve V8 engine with multipoint fuel injection. The output was 425 hp, its maximum torque was 420 N·m at 4,800 rpm. The fuel consumption per 100 km was 16.8 litres in the urban cycle, 11.8 litres in the extra-urban cycle. The maximum speed of the car reached 265 kph. It accelerated from 0 to 100 kph in 4.6 seconds.

Apart from the SE base trim, the manufacturer offered several extended ones. They included SXT, R/T, Police R/T, Daytona R/T.
The standard equipment of all Dodge Charger saloons (2005–2010) included 17-inch alloy wheel rims, central locking system, air conditioning, an audio system with a CD-player, keyless engine start system. There were also ABS, electronic stability programme and traction control. It had power side mirrors and power windows as well. The steering column was depth adjustable.
