Daihatsu Terios II (J2)
Dimensions of the cars didn’t change during the production period. Length, width and height of the body were 4055 mm, 1695 mm and 1690 mm respectively. Ground clearance of the car was 200 mm. Volume of the luggage compartment was 380 litres and could be increased to 1625 litres with the rear seats folded away. Maximum loading capacity of the car was 580 kg. Brake discs were installed on the front axle and brake drums – on the rear one.
Main versions
There were 8 petrol versions of Daihatsu Terios II (J2). The cars were available with rear- or all-wheel drive.
1.5 MT RWD version was one of the most popular. It was powered by 4-cylinder 16-valve in-line engine with fuel injection system. Engine had output of 105 hp and delivered maximum torque – of 140 N·m at 4400 rpm. The car could reach speeds of up to 160 km/h. It accelerated to 100 km/h in 11 seconds. Fuel consumption in urban cycle was 9 litres per 100 km, in extra-urban cycle – 7.5 litres.
Trim levels of Terios II (J2)
Manufacturer offered a few trim levels for Terios II J2 (2006–2013) crossover. For instance, S, SE, SX, Kiri, Centenary, Exclusive, Explore, Expedition, Adventure.
All cars had factory-installed front and side airbags, ABS and parking sensors. Also they featured air-conditioner, stereo system with CD support, power side-view mirrors and power windows.
In addition, a higher trim, SX, included alloy wheel rims, front fog lights, roof rack, heated side-view mirrors.
