Technical characteristics of DAF vehicles

Despite the fact that the brand is associated with trucks and buses, the model range included passenger cars for some time. They were produced from 1958 to 1974. The predictive cruise-control system is also worth mentioning. It uses GPS data to get accurate information about the vehicle’s location and for 1–2 kilometres ahead of it, calculating the ideal speed for a given section of road. This solution is also available for the CF and XF models. Speaking of which, both models won the “International Truck of the Year” in 2018 for a set of innovative technologies that help to reduce fuel consumption by 7%.
