Citroёn C3 II hatchbacks were 3941 mm long, 1728 mm wide and 1524 mm high. The car had 5 seats. The luggage compartment capacity reached 300 litres. But the owner could further increase it to 1120 litres by folding the rear seatbacks. Road clearance of some versions reached 165 mm.

A panoramic 1350 mm long windscreen, providing excellent observability and promoting natural cabin lighting, was an innovative solution for cars of this segment. It was one of the longest windscreens ever installed on production cars, even though it was offered as an option.
Main versions
About 20 versions of Citroёn C3 II (2009–2016) were produced during manufacturing years. They included diesel, petrol and dual-fuel versions, operating on petrol and gas, or petrol and ethanol. All the versions had front-wheel drive.
The diesel version 1.6 e-HDi (110 hp) was the example of fuel efficiency. Its equipment included a 4-cylinder 8-valve engine with a variable-geometry turbocharger, Common Rail fuel injection system and particulate filter. Max torque of the power unit was 270 N⋅m. It was reached at 1750 rpm. The hatchback accelerated to 100 km/h in 9.7 seconds. Its top speed was 190 km/h. Loading capacity equalled 567 kg. Fuel consumption was only 3.4 litres per 100 km in the extra-urban cycle, 3.8 litres – in the combined cycle, 4.6 litres – in the urban cycle.
The 6-speed manual transmission was notable for reliability. ICR indicator informed a driver about the efficiency of the selected gear and when it should be shifted. This allowed reaching the highest fuel economy.
