Initially, the body length was 4,288 mm, the width – 1,748 mm, the height – 1,539 mm. The road clearance was 150 mm. The volume of the luggage compartment was 210 litres, and could be increased to 375 litres with the folded rear seats. After the restyling, the length became 4,290 mm, the width – 1,705 mm, and the height – 1,600 mm. The rest characteristics didn’t change. 7 front-wheel driven versions of the PT Cruiser convertible (2000–2010) were produced. All of them had petrol engines.
The 2.4 MT GT version was the most powerful. It was equipped with a 4-cylinder 16-valve in-line turbocharged power unit. Its output was 220 hp, and the max. torque – 332 Nm at 3,600 rpm. The top speed of the car was 220 km/h. The 0-100 km/h acceleration time was 7.6 seconds.
