Chevrolet Epica specifications
Body dimensions haven’t been changed from the start of production. Length was 4805 mm, width – 1810 mm, height – 1450 mm. Ground clearance of the car was 150 mm. Volume of the luggage compartment was 480 litres. Maximum loading capacity of the car was 485 kg. Ventilated brake discs were installed on the vehicle front axle and non-ventilated – on the rear.
Main versions
About 10 front-wheel-drive versions of Chevrolet Epica were produced. There were cars with petrol and diesel engines.
2.5 AT petrol version was one of the most popular. It was powered by 4-cylinder 16-valve in-line engine with port fuel injection. Engine output was 156 hp, maximum torque – 237 N·m at 4000 rpm. The saloon reached speeds of up to 208 km/h. It accelerated to 100 km/h in 9.9 seconds. Fuel consumption in urban cycle was 13.8 litres per 100 km, 6.6 litres – in extra-urban cycle, 9.3 litres – in combined cycle.
Trim levels of Epica
The following trim levels were offered: LS, LT, Class, Executive. All Epica saloons (2006–2011) had factory-installed ABS, front and side airbags, alloy wheel rims. Besides, the cars had front fog lights, adjustable steering wheel, stereo system, cruise-control, power heated side-view mirrors and power windows.
Higher trim, LT, included multi disc CD player, climate-control, adjustable heated driver seat, parking sensors, traction control system and leather seats.
