The technical specifications of the BMW X1 (E84)
The BMW X1 crossover (E84; 2009–2015) was 4,454 mm long, 1,798 mm wide and 1,545 mm high. Its ride height was 195 mm and the capacity of the luggage compartment might reach 1,350 l. There was enough space in the cabin to accommodate up to five people.

The car accelerated to 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds and its maximum speed was 215 km/h. The carrying capacity of the version was 550 kg. The average fuel consumption was relatively low and was about 5.2 l per 100 km driving in an urban area, 4.5 l – in the mixed cycle and 4.1 l – on a highway. Thus, it was possible to cover the distance from 1,170 to 1,490 km on one full tank. The crossover was fitted with a 6-speed mechanical transmission. The rear-wheel drive ensured the stability and manoeuvrability of the car. The front and rear axles were fitted with drilled brake discs.
The trim packages of the X1 (E84)
Apart from the base one, the following trim packages of the X1 crossovers (E84; 2009–2015) were offered: Executive, High Executive, Business, Business+, Sport Line, xLine, Urban, Lifestyle.
The xLine configuration of the car included six airbags, seat belts with tensioners and tension limiters, stability programme and traction control, anti-lock braking system, brake assist and Run-Flat tyres. The variable-assist power steering was also equipped at the plant. The interior was trimmed with leather and fabric upholstery.
