The Alfa Romeo 164 (164) is a 5-seater saloon that was produced by the Italian company Alfa Romeo Automobiles S.p.A. between 1987 and 1998. It was restyled twice: in 1990 and 1992. The vehicle’s length was 4555 mm, width 1760 mm, and height 1390 mm. Ground clearance was 140 mm. The boot capacity was 505 litres.
The front and rear suspensions were independent. Both axles were equipped with brake discs; the front ones were ventilated.
Main versions

The 3.0 MT FWD petrol version was the most powerful. It was equipped with a 6-speed Getrag gearbox Getrag and V6 24-valve engine with a fuel injection system. The output was 230 hp, and the maximum torque of 284 N⋅m was reached at 3000 rpm. The car went from 0-100 km/h in 7 seconds. The top speed was 245 km/h. Fuel consumption was 13 litres per 100 km in the urban cycle, 7 litres in the extra-urban cycle, and 9 litres in the combined cycle.
Trim levels of 164 (164)
A basic and several extended trim levels were available. Most cars were equipped with 3 trip computers. The first one was responsible for air-conditioner control, the second for engine control, and the third for several electronic systems. The basic trim level of the 164 (1987–1998) saloon included velour cabin upholstery, air-conditioning, and hydraulic power steering. The front windows were electric.
Extended trims had a car stereo, climate control, side and bumper skirts, and sports seats. The front seats were electrically adjustable. The steering wheel position could be adjusted for reach and height. Interior details were trimmed with leather.
